Coble's Leading Ladies Club is on a mission to empower young girls to build their confidence while growing in their leadership skills. The club, sponsored by Coble teachers, Jasandra Shaw and Angela Brown, meets and discusses issues like health and life choices with a focus on nutrition, peer pressure, bullying, and healthy relationships.
"We want them (the students) prepared for making great choices in life. We also address community service as not just philanthropic, but also an aid in standing out toward college admissions. All of which will help our club members prepare for college and beyond," said Ms. Shaw. The club's partnerships include community service projects with Mission Mansfield and Mansfield ISD Toys 4 Tots.
Leading Ladies is always looking for more members to join the club. Their goal is to grow and have a strong presence at school and in the community in which they live. The club meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday.
